Distance Learning Faculty On-Boarding and Faculty Meeting Webinar

Mid-America College of Funeral Service invests in the success of its faculty at all stages of their careers. This webinar will explain the following to new and returning faculty members: what’s new within the LMS, how to use the Distance Learning platform, new policies and regulations, the importance of student engagement, what constitutes required engagement/activity, taking attendance, required training, our mentor program, weekly required live lectures and message boards, learning about several available helpdesks, where and how to post grades in the SIS, proctoring the final exams, completing the required weekly Activity Tracking Report and much more! You will be introduced to the President of the College, Director of College Programs, and the DL Coordinator. You will get the opportunity to meet your mentor, other DL adjuncts, College services, and on campus faculty and staff. The webinar will provide helpful information regarding College resources and available support. This is an opportunity to meet key leaders and to hear about their vision of the College. This Webinar serves as DL faculty meeting for all DL instructors and orientation/on-boarding for new DL adjuncts. All Distance Learning instructors are required to attend, both returning and new instructors.
