Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration – Louisiana State University; Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Louisiana State University Alexandria; Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service, Dallas Institute of Funeral Service; Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer Texas and Oklahoma.
Cody was born in Shreveport, LA, and grew up in deep East Texas and moved to Bedford, TX in 2002 to attend Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He has gained experience at every level of funeral service and discovered a passion for education when he began writing continuing education courses for funeral service professionals. Cody and his wife enjoy staying busy with their two sons and are active in their church, youth sports, and other activities.
Mr. Walker currently serves as the Interim Program Director of the Baccalaureate Program. He has a passion for teaching and has taught most courses in the funeral service education curriculum.
