Elissa is an English and History instructor who has been teaching since 2016 and with Pierce Colleges since 2017. She earned her Master’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015 and holds a B.A. in Human Services from Columbia College. She’s also just a few credits shy of completing a second Master’s degree in History.
Elissa lives in Missouri with her husband, their three children, five cats, and two dogs. When she’s not teaching or grading papers, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, spending time with her family, and getting lost in a good book.
