We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director with 1 year of experience to join our team. Must be licensed in South Carolina In this role, you will provide vital support to families during their time of loss, ensuring that all funeral arrangements are handled with care and precision. The ideal candidate will have a deep sense of empathy and professionalism while overseeing the smooth execution of funeral services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct funeral services in line with family wishes and legal regulations
- Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families
- Arrange transportation for the deceased and oversee service logistics
- Manage all necessary paperwork and documentation for funeral arrangements
- Work closely with clergy, cemetery staff, and florists to organize seamless services
- Oversee funeral home operations, including scheduling, staffing, and facility maintenance
Qualifications:
- Licensed SC Funeral Director (NC license is a plus)
- Previous experience in funeral directing is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of empathy and compassion
- Proficiency in event planning and service organization
- Ability to provide bereavement support to families
- Sales aptitude for offering funeral products and services
