Overview: Sales Assistant

Hello!
My name is Tim Lenz, and I am the Sales Manager at Mountain View Memorial Park & Funeral Home. I'm new to Tacoma, however, I've been honored to work in the industry for seven years. Our goal is to serve families in their time of need, whether it's after losing a loved one, or in assisting them with the benefits of planning ahead, in order to help protect their loved ones.

I find joy in the fact that our team truly cares for the families we serve and treat each one as if it were our own family. We are extremely excited to announce that we have one new Cemetery Sales Assistant position available, to help our team of professionals. We are building a team that will take Mountain View to the next level, with customer service!

As a Cemetery Sales Assistant at Mountain View Memorial Park, you'll directly report to the Sales Manager to assist with administrative needs. With more and more families electing to pre-plan and pre-pay their funeral and cemetery arrangements, you will see a long-term career ahead of you that will never be replaced by technology or automation. This is a people business, and it always will be.

• Answer customer questions about products, services, prices, and property availability
• Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
• Complete paperwork neatly and accurately, including all interment verification procedure
• Answer inquiries about products and services for both pre-need planning and at-need preparation
• Call and confirm all arrival times for current day memorial services
• Set up meetings with clients to help review potential services

• Ability to generate sales through prospecting and cold calling
