Overview: Sales Manager

Hello!
My name is Tim Lenz, and I am the Sales Manager at Mountain View Memorial Park & Funeral Home. I'm new to Tacoma, however, I've been honored to work in the industry for seven years. Our goal is to serve families in their time of need, whether it's after losing a loved one, or in assisting them with the benefits of planning ahead, in order to help protect their loved ones.

I find joy in the fact that our team truly cares for the families we serve and treat each one as if it were our own family. We are extremely excited to announce that we have one new Cemetery Sales Assistant position available, to help our team of professionals. We are building a team that will take Mountain View to the next level, with customer service!

The lucky candidate would need to be extremely driven, deliver on promises, and have a passion for helping others. If you are coachable, trainable, and have a passion for winning, then I would like to talk with you.

As a Family Service Advisor Supervisor at Mountain View Memorial Park, you'll help families and their loved ones create the ultimate celebration of life. With vision and compassion, you'll provide the most meaningful and necessary gift anyone could receive – helping families plan for their future by creating a clear road map to having their wishes honored. With more and more families electing to pre-plan and pre-pay their funeral and cemetery arrangements, you will see a long-term career ahead of you that will never be replaced by technology or automation. This is a people business, and it always will be.

• Answer customer questions about products, services, prices, and property availability
• Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
• Complete paperwork neatly and accurately, including all interment verification procedure
• Answer inquiries about products and services for both pre-need planning and at-need preparation
• Call and confirm all arrival times for current day memorial services
• Set up meetings with clients to help review potential services
• Partner with Sales Manager to help lead, train, and motivate team for success

Qualifications

• High level of integrity, empathy and passion
• Desire to help others and earn a competitive income
• Great Communication and People Skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• Ability to generate sales through prospecting and cold calling
• Creative, outgoing and energetic
• Valid driver's license
