We will be inviting local and distant funeral homes in Kentucky and Indiana as well as other funeral service related careers.

Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund – Student Aid Update

Students eligible for Emergency Financial Aid Grants must be actively enrolled and have an EFC of zero (0) to be eligible.

Starting in the Winter term January 3, 2023, all courses will be offered on Blackboard

Students, starting in the Winter term January 3, 2023, all courses will be offered on Blackboard, the new Learning Management System (LMS), for Pierce Colleges.  To help in the transition to the new LMS, you are being asked to login to Blackboard as soon as possible and access the Student Resources course.  In the Student Resources course, you will find useful tutorials on how to navigate and utilize the learning tools in Blackboard.

Mid-America College of Funeral Services to Host Reunion - College to Unveil New State-of-the-Art Preparation Room

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN, March 8, 2022 – Mid-America College of Funeral Services, a Pierce Mortuary College, will host a reunion for all graduates of the college and its two predecessors, Kentucky School of Mortuary Science and Indiana College of Mortuary Science. In addition, the college will unveil an all-new, state-of-the-art preparation room. The reunion will be held at Mid-America, 3111 Hamburg Pike Jeffersonville, IN 47130, on April 2, beginning at 12:00 noon and concluding at 5:00 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the preparation room will begin at 3:00 p.m.
