Required Qualifications 

Licensed Embalmer: 

Current valid State Embalmer License  
Completed apprenticeship and licensed to perform duties as a Licensed Embalmer defined by a designated state.  
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school within Mortuary Science or Embalming.

Apprentice Embalmer:  

Successful completion of an accredited Mortuary Science program 
Ability to register as an apprentice embalmer
